Grace Coddington for Interview Magazine

The iconic Grace Coddington shines in this month's issue of Interview Magazine. The deep black and white photos capture Grace in all black, in a simple raw state in front the camera with her porcelain white skin and untameable red hair. The editorial also shows photos of her in her previous modelling days back in the 60's and many of her spreads for Vogue over the years.

Recently, I had only been told about the history and life of Grace. Before the 2007 movie, "The September Issue" it is no secret that she was perceived much different to the world. Since the premiere of this amazing movie - which if you have not seen, you must - her career and success have been taken to another remarkable level. After nearly 50 years in the fashion industry, her raw dedication at Vogue was not witnessed by most of the world until this movie. Like most who have watched it, you couldn't help falling in love with this brilliant woman. The 2007 September Issue was their most triumphant, 840 page issue until this years September issue that was 916 pages topped it.

Grace: A Memoir, was just released last month and I cannot wait to read it. Covering her life from the beginning in Wales to her life now at American Vogue and all in between, my anticipation is unbearable. The fact that I secretly know it's sitting wrapped under my tree right now as one of my Christmas gifts is the worst part...thanks mom!
