I think it's safe to say the Oscar de la Renta fw 2013 show was one of the most anticipated runway shows at New York Fashion Week. Why you ask? Well obviously because the one and only John Galliano was working with him. De la Renta is famous for his feminine and always elegant pieces and this fw 2013 collection was nothing short of divine. The collection had the perfect kiss of Galliano, a man who has not lost his touch in the art of design. The cuts and structures, colours and amazing array of textures were so well executed, illustrating just how amazing this collabo between fashion icons truly was.
Oscar, hats off to you for not only your genuine and kind heart, letting Galliano get back into the game but also your remarkable sense of what a woman wants in clothes, year after year.
Diane Von Furstenburg referred to the collection as, "a beautiful conversation," [between Galliano and de la Renta that is] and I could not agree more.
